    Hi,

My company is receiving press coverage now. What I’d like to do is add the external links to articles to my site’s homepage. This could be in any of the following ways:

    • Click on client logo or aritcle title -> external link opens. Like what Freshbooks has, but with an article title and a link that opens instead of just a static image.
    • Do something like a 3 column Blog Posts grid using the post excerpts. Clicking the title or Read More link takes users to the external site where the article about (or by) me is hosted.
    • Any other suggestions are welcome.

Is there anything in Enfold that is well-suited to this – or a workaround which will take users directly to the external site? Ideally, as more people write about me, I would like to be able to add these press pieces in a similar fashion to how I add blog posts or portfolio items, instead of having to go edit the homepage manually every time there is a new press piece to put on the homepage.

The Lean Startup’s homepage has something similar, in principle, toward the bottom of their homepage: http://theleanstartup.com/.

Another thread on this forum is for a site which has a grid for press coverage: http://www.alicemackintosh.com/. The main difference there is that clicking on an item in that list takes you to another page within the same site, instead of directly to the article. Also, I am not sure that the portfolio item grid is the right format since the image might just be a client logo. I still need to find out whether I have permission to use clients’ logos.

    Thanks,
    David

    Hey DalandanUX!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

You can use the Logo/Partner element or the Image element plus column layouts, set the link manually.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
