Hi there – building out a home page for a news magazine, and i wanted to try using a masonry builder element in avia below all the magazine widgets.
i set it for full width (the section above had a sidebar from the Enfold settings, where i had ads running), but when i saved the page and viewed it, the masonry was no good, and worse, it killed the sidebar.
even weirder, i deleted the masonry element, and it’s still broken. the ads (same widget) work on interior pages and posts fine.
but not on the home page. see the link. the footer is broken as well – you can see when you scroll down. it’s like the page has been corrupted or something.
what’s also weird is the client first wanted a theme from another vendor (cubell) and though i’ve deleted that theme, the widgets and builder elements are still showing up – despite being deleted, and having Enfold be the active theme. any ideas on this? are they related? Hosting via Pagely, in case that matters. I did flush the cache, no help.
thanks in advance.
UPDATE: even weirder – i added a horizontal rule to the bottom of the page, below the last magazine element – where the masonry had been – saved – refreshed – now the sidebar has returned. it’s like it needed “something” there to unbreak it. any ideas so i can avoid this in the future?
and any thoughts you have on the old theme widgets still showing would be appreciated.
