Dear staff
I have an issue with breadcrumb and I am not able to resolve what is the problem.
The situation is that:
In the “Quien soy” page, I’ve put at the bottom a list of portfolio items, and when I click on one of these items, I see in the breadcrumb “Inicio > Quien Soy > Portfolio Item Name” when it should be “Inicio > Portfolio > Portfolio Item Name”.
This works fine when I access to the portfolio entry from “Portfolio” page, but when I do from “Quien soy” it displays a wrong breadcrumb, at least it’s not what I pretend,
Could you guide me how to fix this problem?
Thanks
Hey Fernando!
The breadcrumb will always show the parent page of the current page. Make sure that the page hierarchy is correct. You can set the parent page in the right sidebar of the page editor screen (underneath the blue Publish/Update button).
Best regards,
Andy
Andy. Thanks for your reply but how I could resolve my problem.
I want every portfolio entry shows “inicio > portfolio > portfolio entry name”, no matter from what page the user access to portfolio details. Does it mean I won’t show the breadcrumb correctly?
I don’t have child pages in my structure sites.
I hope there is a solution for my issue :-)
Thanks
Hi!
I am afraid there is no easy solution for this, because as I already said the breadcrumb will always show the parent page of the current page. You can find someone for this job here or maybe a plugin like this one could help you: https://wordpress.org/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/

Andy
Hi Andy.
Indeed, I’ve used Breadcrumb NavXT and it works
Thanks for your suggestion.
