Enfold Image Problem Leading to Breaking My Images

Team Enfold, I am stuck and frustrated.

I was having the typical image upload problem that would only be resolved when I switched themes. I decided to circle back and follow the advice from Ishmael on updating the permissions for my folders, files and subfolders and now none of my images are showing in the media library though they show up on the front end.

I have set and reset the permissions per the article the Moderators shared at this link: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-image-upload-issue-in-wordpress/

Any clue how I:
1.) Fit it so that my images show in my media library, [GoDaddy came to the rescue here] and
2.) How to get it so that image uploads work with the Enfold theme?
