Hi,
I’m wanting to know if there is any pre-defined setup for creating a custom shop page (non default Woo shop setup). What I need is a way to neatly organize all our products by category on 1 page that then leads to displaying the products within that category. So can I use your pre-defined modules in the custom layout editor to create a display of categories on a page of my choosing? What would be the best way to do this so I can also add (h2s) instead of the user JUST relying on breadcrumbs for the shop navigation only?
Because the way Woo Commerce is by default (shop) page is messy as we all know.

Would love some feedback.
Thanks! :)

In Dashboard > Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display you can set the “Shop Page Display” to “Show both” which separate the products into categories for the user to click on and view.
Or you can create your own pages and use our product grid / list element to list the products that way as well.

So just to clarify, I’m needing to basically have an option to just display the category image for each category, and also be able to lay it out without all the products on the shop page. So is it possible to do this with just the categories? Also, is there a way to put content on the category pages?
Thanks,

Unfortunately, there is no element in the advance layout builder that can display the product categories, same as the default shop page. What you can do is to manually create a grid, use the column layouts, and then add the category images manually by using the image element. Set the link to your custom category pages. In your custom category pages, use the product grid element to show products from a specific category.
If you don’t want to do this manually, just follow the suggestions above but the custom category pages will be limited to the default options.

These sound like good ideas, but I’m not sure which grid your talking about? Are you talking about the “grid row” element? Or something else?
Thanks,
