The new site looks like I can drop a testimonial widget but can not add a frame or list them in order like the old site.
Can you please help?

May 27, 2015 at 6:46 am #450435Hi Guys,
In addition to the above,
I am really struggling on how to do this stuff with the enfold theme. I am trying to recreate this mock up using the enfold theme for my client and can not work out how to best do this. See below.
I am looking to recreate the top 5 images one large (2 sides) and 2 bottoms. The images need to be aligned as per the picture. I have tried masonry I have tried grid layout and just images.
Any help be appreciated.https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B305YOryxRCcYTU3Q3piZEhqcm8&authuser=0
Thanks
RaksMay 27, 2015 at 6:04 pm #450727Hey!
You can enable debugging mode to see shortcodes you have created in pages using Advanced Layout Builder – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.Or you can write down your testimonials manually using text widget.
Can you please point out the image section that you would like to recreate?
Best regards,
YigitMay 27, 2015 at 6:15 pm #450734Thanks Yigit – can the same testimonials appear in different sections on the website without me recreating it each time?
Here is the link for the image layout look: I have circled the area.
I am wondering if the easiest way is to go back to HTML TR TD stuff but I want the client to appreciate the enfold theme widgets so any advice you have would be great, I love the theme just got to work out how to use images with it!https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B305YOryxRCcVm1tZjROekphdDg&authuser=0
May 28, 2015 at 11:01 am #451084Hi!
It’s possible to have the same testimonial element but you need to add the shortcode directly to the template files. Use the do_shortcode function. https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/do_shortcode
The element that can get you as close as possible to the layout that you want is the grid row element. Add two grid row elements, set the cell size to 2/3, 1/3. Add the first large image in the first grid row’s 2/3 cell and I’m sure you’ll know what to do next. You can set the padding to 0. The problem with this is that grid rows are automatically set to full width so you need to add custom css customizations in the Quick CSS field. You might also need to adjust the height on different screen sizes so css media queries will come in handy.
If it doesn’t work, play around with the layer slider.
Cheers!
IsmaelMay 28, 2015 at 6:12 pm #451341Thanks Ismael – do you have the handy CSS code that I would need to use? I know Java but my css knowledge is limited and I am helping this client to configure their site.
Does the layer slider achieve the same thing?
Thanks
RaksMay 29, 2015 at 5:29 am #451524Hi Ismael – also in the grid layer can I add more than one image? I do not think I will be able to achieve the look i mentioned the link else.
In addtition if you can provide the magic CSS that would be great to reduce the size of the grid to be 2/3May 29, 2015 at 5:45 am #451528Hi – I managed to work out the css pasted below in case anyone else is interested. However I cannot add more than one image in the same grid cell. See http://new.cricketdynamics.co.uk// towards the bottom I want the cricket image to be the same height but have another image under the video in the 2nd cell.
(.av-layout-grid-container {
width: 75%;
table-layout: fixed;
display: table;
border-top-width: 0px;
})May 29, 2015 at 5:52 am #451531Sorry for the spam but also I am trying to get the latest news widget to be in the right hand side of the space of the video but it drops below. The current way I have done this is :
1. Grid layout”
2/3 (contains the cricket ball image in the link) 1/3 contains the video link.2. Css above to make the grid layout 75%.
3. Added a layout content of 3/4 (left empty) and added 1/4 (and added the news widget in there).Would have expected the news widget to push up into the space the 25% in the grid layout row. See link:

May 31, 2015 at 6:00 am #452154Hi!
Bumping the thread will only push it at the end of the queue so we will not able to answer it. Please refrain from answering your own thread unless you don’t mind getting a late response.
I checked the screenshot that you provided and the current state of the site but I don’t see any resemblance so I’m not sure where to start.
Yes, it’s possible to add more than one image on a cell but that’s not what you want. Add another grid row below the existing one. If you use the layer slider, you can position the images manually. The design that you want cannot be automatically achieve with the builder alone, you need to use custom css modifications. Please hire a freelance developer or contact codeable: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization

June 1, 2015 at 2:00 am #452305Thanks Ismael – I think I have compromised the new look.
However one question I have is this. If I use a full layout widget (e.g. EasySlider) and write some custom CSS to make it 75% rather than 100%. How can I ensure that the 25% gap will push up the widget below.? For example I would like to add a video box next to my easy slider in the site.

Thanks

@cricketdynamics
instead of the fullwidth easy slider you could use the normal easy slider and use the layout elements of ALB:
