Hello. I either do websites with Enfold or Pagelines DMS. With DMS we are able to define a header area that’s more than just the menu, logo, social icons, etc. Basically, you can define an entire page as a header if you really wanted to. Is there a way to do this with Enfold?

My client wants to show the Enfold header area, but also wants her banner image and opt in form to appear at the top of all her pages.

    Thank you,

    Hi rlogan2334!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

Can you please provide a screenshot of what you’re trying to? What do you mean by “define an entire page as a header”?

    Regards,
    Ismael

If you look at the website, my client would like the opt-in form and everything above it…to appear at the top of all pages.

    Hey!

The site is on maintenance mode. If you’re trying to add custom modifications on the header section. You can edit includes > helper-main-menu.php file. If you want to place something on top of the header, edit header.php file because there is no option for that by default.

    Hey!

Looks like you’re using a third party plugin. I’m sorry but we don’t provide support for third party plugins. Like I said, you can edit the header.php file in order to add the content that you want on top of the header. Unfortunately, we’re not familiar with the plugin so it’s best if you contact the plugin author.

    Cheers!

A plugin should have no bearing on this. So, you’re telling me that if I want to add simple text under the menu (header) and have it appear on ALL pages…I have to directly edit a .php file? If that’s the case, then please tell me there is a way to build a template of the Home page and apply it’s content to other pages?

    Hey!

The data comes from the plugin so if we’re not familiar with the plugin, it’ll take us more time to trace the code. If you can contact the plugin author, they’ll know right away where to look. They’ll know what specific function to use in order to fetch data. And yes, you need to edit the header.php manually, especially when you want to add a dynamic data. If you only need to add a static text, add a simple text block to a page then save it as a template. You can find the Template button on right top corner of the ALB. Apply the template to the pages.
