Hi, now reading about Advanced Layout Editor not working in some cases. Now after updating it didn’t work for me either. Thus I tried reinstall WP, theme, disabling plugins, flush cache with no success.
Finaly I backed up all content and used plugin called SUICIDE, activating it and selecting all except options and users tables to be flushed and it worked! Advanced Layout Editor now works without endlessly rotating loading ajax icon and importing/restoring posts, pages and media doesn’t change that.

I am having the same issue with the Advanced layout editor..
Initially I was having a constant roatating icon…. So reinstalled removed WordPress, reinstalled Enfold, reinstalled WordPress, SUICIDE etc… still not working!!
I am running WordPress version 4.2.2 and Enfold 3.1.5
Any reason why I am having this trouble???
Really need this working… :(

1.define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );

Well I have resolved it…. One more shot at SUICIDE and FTP transferring wordpress and enfold files from fresh downloads..
its worked so I have not got access again the Advanced editor!!So there is a progress in my instalation. It worked until I created new page! It allowed one edit and now it is broken as well (sorry for not testing my previous solution deeply).
Otherwise I tried mrjukic solution and worked for me. Just open wp-config.php in your wordpress installation folder and add folowing row:
define( 'CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false );Now the editor is finaly working as expected (no deep testing, just tried a little). Thanks mrjukic for advice!
I have the same problem, add the script define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ); in WP-CONFIG.php, but note working. Here a view of my problem. The Avia Editor disapear.

YigitHi. I did all the steps you mentionned and still not work.
I’m running the latest version of the theme (3.7.1)
Clear my browser cache and restart
Try a different browser (IE (Edge), iPhone app Chrome and Safari
Disable all plugins (I use only one, WPML)
I overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from my Themeforest accountHi, I’m having just the same problem here. I’ll describe some things hoping that it helps shedding some light on what this bug might be.
It’s curious because the Advanced Editor works fine in the Post Editor, while in the Pages Editor it crashes. Earlier I rearranged the option boxes in the right column (publish, page attributes, layout). Initially it worked fine, but when I added an Animated Countdown to the layout, it suddenly crashed. I’ve tried to use that element in the past and never worked but at least, the Advanced Editor could still be used. The only thing that was different this time was the right column elements order, as I mentioned.
These boxes can no longer be re-arranged, nor folded, but their content is functional. For instance, I can browse older revisions, pick a previous one, but still, when I’m back at the Edit Page, there’s this loading gif below the Avia Layout Builder. The Default Button doesn’t either work.
I solve my problem with this steps
Replace my theme by à new one
Refresh
Re-add the Enfold theme
Remove the line
define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ); //
Re-Upload the wp-config.php
And it work now … maybe add the theme, refresh and re-add the theme does nothing, but overall, it work now.Thank you.

Seems to be a common issue that the Advanced Layout Builder is not working in Pages but does work in Posts. In the last couple of days several topics were opened, including one by me. I tried all suggested solutions but cannot get it to work. Hopefulliy Kriesi will be able to identify the root cause soon as I cannot work on my website….
I am seeing the same behavior today. It was working yesterday, then out of the blue today it’s not working anymore for pages or posts. Any updates?
@repking: I found a solution that worked for me. I posted it in the thread I opened here:
No guarantees however that this also works for the other users who are having the same issue. But it worked for me.

Ive just got the same issues, completely out of the blue.
When you edit a page, it will not load, just spinning icon in the centre of screen.
Any fix? im desperate to finish this website.Regards

Yes that the first thing i tried.
Then i asked my host to restore back to Thursday night and still the page editor will not work
on pages but will work on posts.Regards

Ive being testing for hours and found it is REV Slider plugin stopping it working.
Why now, i have not updated either plugin, it just stopped working.
Just thought id let you know incase someone else experiences the same issue
with Avia layout builder.
