How do I hide the enfold.css reference to make the theme look personal to my client - Support

I have several more websites to build and really enjoy using your theme – although they have specifically requested that there be no reference to “enfold” when viewing the code – how can I do this – is it legal and is it possible? Would appreciate some advice please. Thanks in advance.

I have set it up as a child theme and added the line of code to the Child theme functions – but its still showing in the source code…? What I want to do is loose the reference to enfold in all the source code – is this possible?

Hey!

Please use the code as following
```
function avia_remove_debug() { 
remove_action('wp_head','avia_debugging_info',1000); 
} 
add_action( 'init', 'avia_remove_debug');
```
This should remove debugging info. Then you can change theme name in Style.css file.

Please edit your parent theme as well and change theme name in style.css file and change the folder name in wp-content/themes.

Struggling here a bit – sorry…
I am to add this code to both the ENFOLD functions.php and my child functions.php?

When I add it to the Enfold functions.php – it just produces a white page when viewing the site?

Can you document what goes where please?

Hi!

If you want to change the name of the enfold.css file to something else, you need to rename the theme in the style.css file but it will deactivate the theme and you will lose the theme options. And reset all layout options on each page. You should have done this at the very start.
```
Theme Name: Enfold
```
Or rename the child theme to something else then toggle any theme options to resave the css file. Create a backup of the site and a restore point before doing anything.

The code above (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-do-i-hide-the-enfold-css-reference-to-make-the-theme-look-personal-to-my-client/#post-446873) should remove the debug info inside the head tag.

Sorry, I’ve tried that as well – cleared my cache, tried different browsers and also tried privacy browser windows. I’m adding the code to Functionality Plugin; however, all the other functions in there work as intended. Any other suggestions?

```
If it doesn’t work in the plugin, try to add it directly in the functions.php file.
