Hello,
I’m trying to create a homepage where the slider stretches across the entire screen but the main content does not, just like the Enfold demo page:

I’m assuming there is a simple way to do this but I can’t figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As you can see, beneath the slider there are 3 images contained in 3 columns, stretched across the width of the screen. I would like for them to be contained and appear as the content appears on the enfold demo link.

You are posting the link to Enfold overview page. Please go to example page using this link – http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-overview/ and then post the link to us. If you would like to use boxed layout, you can change it in Enfold theme options > General Layout tab

I don’t want boxed layout, though. I want a full-width main header slider with boxed content on the rest of the page. Just like in the link above.

You can add Advanced Layer Slider or Fullwidth Easy Slider element to your pages to display a fullwidth slider – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-advanced-layout-editor/
