    Hi,

There are a few “problems” / warnings on Enfold that I would like to fix, in terms of W3C validation.
Even though some of them may have low importance or can be ignored, we would like to make sure they are all gone and we have a nice “Valid” green seal, at least on homepage.

I am up to re-create the whole page from ground zero or simply fix each point one by one but how to start?
I believe some of these are caused by Enfold itself? Please confirm

    Hello,

Unfortunately to keep the theme cross browser compatible and to add a few of the more fancy effects it will never be fully w3c valid without removing those.

Even just making it work in IE8 means it wont pass validation.

    Regards,
    Josue

Go back evil IE, you daemon…

Thank you Josue, is it possible at least to minimise some of the warnings / errors from our side?
I believe some of them could simply be avoided…

    Hi!

Most of the actual errors seem to be related to third-party scripts, from what i could see:
    – 243: attribute set to “seogroup-embed” div.
    – 445: style tag related to “snp-newtheme6”.
    – 245, 261, 262: unclosed <p></p> tags.
    – 491: style tag related to Enfold, but i’m pretty sure the theme does not add that by its own, perhaps it is set in your functions.php file.

    Cheers!
    Josue
