Right now the Masonry element under ‘content elements’ pulls from categories in blog posts. Is there a way for me to get it to pull from portfolio entries instead of blog posts? I want to use it to showcase some recent work which is separate from blog posts. Once clicked I want it to open the portfolio entry.
Hey Chris!
You probably figured it out already but yes you can edit the Masonry and set it to display the portfolio post types instead of regular blog posts. You can also use the portfolio grid element which is pretty much the same thing.

Hi,
I’d like to use portfolio post types with the Masonry element, to create the Masonry Portfolio. How is this done?
Under the Masonry content element, I don’t see an option for Portfolio entry (as shown in your 2013 instructional video). I’m using Enfold 3.1.4.
Like the user above, once a masonry thumbnail is clicked, I’d like for it to open the portfolio entry.
Thanks!
Hey!
Make sure you have at least one portfolio category created and then when you edit the Masonry select the “Portfolio entries” in the “Which entries?” option.

Elliott
Hello,
I also have similar problems like above. In the masonry settings under “which entries” now I cannot see the portfolio entries, only: Category, post tag and post format. I used to see it, I have three different portfolio entries.
Thank you for any tipps, hints.
Greetings
Hi @tomerdelyi,

Hi Rikard,
thank you, already figured it out. I had to set categories for the portfolio entries.
