    Hello,

Is there an easy way to fix the broken images in my slideshow without having to copy and paste new URLs for each image? To view the problem, please click here:

    Hi!

Not sure what you mean by an easy way to fix but I think inputting the correct url of the images would be a good place to start.

    Cheers!

For instance “rebuild permalinks” sometimes fixes broken links.

I was hoping to not have to go in to each individual layer and have to repaste in the correct URL.

Shouldn’t there be a quicker way to do this? Being that most people develop their sites outside of the live URL? I would imagine this is a common issue.

    Hi!

Rebuilding the permalinks will rewrite the .htaccess file but it will not affect the layer slider url. How did the slider url broke anyway? Did you transfer the site?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Yes.. the site while being built was on the following URL

    http://drewnelsonphotography.com/bistrobranding

And I transferred to the live site at

    http://bistrobranding.com

Certainly I can’t be the first person to have this problem? That being said I did go in by hand to fix it, but that is quite tedious

    Hi!

You are most likely not the first nor the last person with this problem no, I’m not sure how you transfered it but there are some helpful plugins out there which you might want to look at next time, like this for instance: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/
