I’m using a Portfolio Grid to pull various categories of properties on a real estate site. In one instance, I have two categories – Owned and Previously Owned. I want the properties to appear 9-up on a page with the categories appearing above the grid so you can click on each category and have only those properties show up. No problem. However, if there are no Previously Owned properties on a particular page of 9-up, the category “Previously Owned” doesn’t appear at the top. Each page is only sorting and showing those properties that appear on that page, not on any other page.
Does that make sense?
For example, if you’re on page 3, clicking on “Previously Owned” won’t show you previously owned properties that appear on page 1.
I want the categories to always appear and pull from the full list of properties – every property that has those categories. Is this doable?
Thanks!
Hi ferriscreative!
There currently isn’t a way to do that. The sorting feature will only work on items in the current set and not for items on other pages.
You can create a feature request here, https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/, and we’ll see if we can get something worked out in a future update.
In the meantime you can get a similar effect if you load a bunch of items on each page so there is at least one “owned” and “previously owned” on the page.
Best regards,
Elliott
Thanks. I posted a feature request. And yes, I’ve tried the option of making sure there’s one item of each category on each page, but you still don’t see all of the previously owned properties in the portfolio, just the ones on that page.
Holding out hope for that feature to be added. Thanks!
