Hi
I couldn’t see much of the WP dashboard today – only the menu appeared (but didn’t function) and to the right a Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_avatar_data() in /
(full path in private). message was all that was present.
I’m using 3.15 which I believe is up to date. The only thing that’s changed, is WP has auto updated itself to the latest 4.2.2 – before this, everything was functioning fine.
I tried renaming the plugins folder, renaming the theme folder and still the same fatal error.
Then I went to the line referred to in the full path and commented it out. I also had to do this with line 2221.
It worked!!! I’m now back in the dashboard an the error has gone.
So my question is – are those commented out lines essential for anything? If so, what?
Regards
Steve
Hey Steven!
I tried viewing your screenshot but it takes me to a “coming soon” page.
That “get_avatar_data” should not be in our framework. Perhaps it was in an older version? I’m not sure. Try completely deleting Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest. That should fix it.
Cheers!
