    Hello,

    thanks for your great theme and support!
    I got a big image (500kb) which i placed as a background image in a color section at the top of my page. Now when i go to my page the background image loads much slower compared to the body content of the site. Therefore, the top of the page is blank for a duration of 2-5 seconds. Is there any way to preload this background image during the initial preloading screen?

    Loading speed seems fine to me. However, you can speed up your site using different plugins, like WP minify, WP Super Cache, etc.
