    Hi,

    I am about to change to Enfold on http://www.newyorkinspiration.com

    I am adjusting the theme in admin but when I created a blog post with the Advance Layout Editor it is not visible on the main page, only a read more link.

    What do I need to do? log in and you will see it on http://www.newyorkinspiration.com

    Hi,

    I was just about to open a ticket on this subject as well.

    If you look at: http://digitalessence.net/blog/

    The blog post titled: Innerleithen Music Festival is the only one where I have used the advanced layout editor and as the OP states, the excerpt isn’t visible on the Blog page, only a read more link.

    Hey!

    That’s the expected behaviour. You can set a custom excerpt when editing the post or switch to the default editor if you wish for the post to behave like a post instead of a page.

    If you do not see the excerpt field when editing your post then click on “Screen Options” in the top right hand corner of your screen and check it to display.
