When inserting special mail tags on my contact forms they’re not working when on pages.
For example – https://advancedparking.co.uk/w/car-park-management/
It seems that on widgets these codes do not work and the layout editor seems to “act like” widgets. See the post here – http://contactform7.com/special-mail-tags/
Is there any workarounds for this?
April 29, 2015 at 8:22 pm #436985Hi Gwellins!
What exactly is the tag you are using? It would be the best if you contact Contact Form 7 authors/support as they should have better insight on what could be causing the issue.

Thanks for the response.
I am using the tag [_post_title]. I tried it on a page that doesn’t use the layout editor and it works fine but when using the layout editor it simply does not work and I cannot figure out the reason why.
I would contact the plugin support but it clearly says on the page http://contactform7.com/special-mail-tags/ that the codes do not work with widgets.
Any other thoughts?
Kind regards,
Gideon
May 2, 2015 at 5:17 pm #438394Hey Gideon!
CF7 special tags won’t work with ALB, refer to this article:

JosueMay 3, 2015 at 10:50 am #438482Hi Josue,
Thanks. That is the link I originally shared in my question and thought that would be the reason.
Is there any chance that this could be fixed in a future update of Enfold?
Kind regards,
Gideon
May 3, 2015 at 12:27 pm #438494Could be if more people request it, feel free to open a new feature request here:

JosueMay 25, 2016 at 4:28 pm #638107I don’t know if this was requested but would love to find a solution for this. I don’t want to fork $200 a year for Gravity to cover this feature.
