Want to add a custom widget to the sidebar on certain pages. When I go to Customizer > Create Widget I get a Widget but how do you actually design the widget and add its content?

GünterMaybe what I need is less complicated than that. Just want to add a line of text and a CTA button to the sidebar.

first you should activate debug mode: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
Then you will find shortcodes under the Avia Layout Builder. Build your content with the ALB and then use the shortcodes to put them into your widget.
