    I’d like to remove the standard sidebar including “pages”, “category” and “archive”. I want to add a link to a document, or a photo, or a contact instead. How do I do this?

    Hey slfoster0799!

    Please go to Appearance > Widgets and create a new widget area and remove widgets under “Displayed Everywhere” widget area then edit your page and choose to display that widget area under Layout section.
