    Hi
    I am having trouble installing the latest version of Enfold. I downloaded 3.1.2 and have tried numerous times to update it via FTP. Every time I try and I check on the the theme version on my site it says it is running 2.4.4

    I cannot update any page on the site it just keeps hanging. I have been stuck at this for weeks now…can somebody PLEASE help? :(

    Hi Rob,

    There are couple of things to check.
    – Please make sure that you are uploading the updated version and not older version
    – Please make sure that you are updating correct installation
    – Please make sure that you are overwriting all files.

    If that too does not help, please upload the zip file of the latest version of Enfold 3.1.3 to your server and post FTP access here privately so we can update the theme for you.

    Hi Rob,

    enfoldzip folder looks empty on my end :/ Can you please check it once again? Also, please post WP login credentials as well so we can check if everything is alright on the backend/frontend after installing the theme

    Hey!

    Please review your website now. Since we have updated your theme from a very old version, you may need to re-configure some elements/options such as header – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-header-configurator/
    If you see anything wrong and need help, feel free to let us know :)

    Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it.

    Just one thing. Is there a reason that it is never possible to upgrade to the latest version of enfold in WordPress, as it is supposed to work? Do we always need to do it via FTP?

    Hi Rob,

    You are welcome, we are always happy to help :)
    Please make sure that your API key is correct – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and you should receive updates.
    One thing i noticed, you had Enfold folder inside wp-content folder. Folder you should update is inside wp-content/themes folder
