    Hi,

    I am missing some tags in the widget. Meaning I have some tags defined and they show up in posts/portfolios but they don’t appear in the widget in the footer or in sidebar. I have deactivated plugins and cleared caches, but apparently it’s not working. For example, see the latest post and the tags that appear at the bottom don’t appear in the tag cloud in the footer widget.

    Any clues?

    three columns including ;
    #1 RECENT COMMENTS and POSTS ARCHIVES,
    #2 SOME LINKS, POST CATEGORIES, PROJECTS CATEGORIES, GALLERIES CATEGORIES
    #3 TAGS (about 400 words – tags),

    Sidebar ;
    #1 SEARCH,
    #2 POST CATEGORIES
    #3 LATEST PHOTO GALLERIES,
    #4 LATEST PROJECTS

    Just incase, have you placed “tags” into thr right sidebar ?

    Hi begrafiks,

    Thanks for the reply. No, I did not place any tags in the sidebar.

    Here’s something funny. I installed the Ultimate Tag Cloud plugin and configured it. It show all the tags that I wanted. So, it’s possible there’s a limit being placed in the theme on the no. of tags to display. The tags that don’t appear are the most recents ones.

    I do have a gallery CPT but tags are the same across all post types.

    Hi!

    I’m not 100% sure about this but I think the default behaviour of the Tag Cloud Widget is to only show tags after a set number of posts has been tagged. I think the plugin you are using let’s you alter the WordPress standard settings. https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_tag_cloud
