2 questions regarding customization of the single post page on blog.
1. I’d like to have the single post page on blog to look exactly like the rest of pages on my site.
2. Is it possible? Is there some sort of css code for categories list that I can insert into codeblock or quick css?
thanks for the help,

April 13, 2015 at 5:50 pm #427653Hi!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
.single .content, .single .sidebar { border: none!important; }
then choose to display the sidebar you are currently displaying on your blog overview page for your single posts.

YigitApril 13, 2015 at 5:54 pm #427658actually, I’m not displaying a sidebar on my blog overview page. It’s actually done using layout builder with 2/3 and 1/3 proportion. 1/3 is given to the right side to give a sidebar appearance. It actually is not a “sidebar” as defined by theme. Also The blog overview page retains all elements of other pages (background image file, pseudo-sidebar, with addition of the blog category at the bottom.) I’d like to keep this as a template for single post page as well.

April 14, 2015 at 4:59 pm #428340Hey!
You can use Advanced Layout Builder while creating your single posts and can easily replicate your overview page.

Please edit your blog post and click “Advanced Layout Editor” button – http://i.imgur.com/zzH9J55.png and create your post using ALB
Cheers!

April 14, 2015 at 11:33 pm #428524com’on, anyone out there? used to be able to get good support in hours. Now it’s more than two days, got only 1-2 responses.
April 14, 2015 at 11:50 pm #428526Hi!
For your information, you are pushing your query to the end of the queue by self posting.
You are currently not using the latest version of the theme. Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.1.3 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/Best regards,
YigitApril 14, 2015 at 11:56 pm #428531I see. So the layout builder is built into 3.1.3?
also what do I need to do to save customization? Do I need to back up custom css in Quick CSS under General Styling? Are there other things I need to back up? I have a plug-in installed to back up entire website, but I’m not sure if there’s something I need to back up, just for the styling, customization. etc.
April 15, 2015 at 12:05 am #428538Hi!
Yes, it was added with version 3.1. You can take a look at other highlighted features here on our blog – http://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-version-3-1-new-elements-demos-and-long-awaited-improvements
If you only made changes on Enfold theme options and did not change the theme name, you do not need to backup any files. You can go ahead and update the theme
Best regards,
YigitApril 15, 2015 at 12:36 am #428556just to be sure, we have made quite bit of customization on the options, using quick css code and also the plugins. You sure updating to the new version will not change what I have there? It’s a working website with a lot of personalization. don’t want to lose all these.
April 15, 2015 at 12:43 am #428562Hey!
Yes, your theme options are saved on a separate file which will not be overwritten when you update theme files. To be on the safe side, you can go to Enfold theme options > Import & Export and export your theme options. If you made any changes on theme files, including functions.php, custom.css files etc. they will be overwritten.
