    Hello Elliott,
    That worked but it only removed the pencil mark and it still leaves a gross looking white circle. Is there another string of code I can use to remove that as well?

    Also, how can I delete the excerpt for a magazine? Right now I have a multi-language site and although it looks good on the English version, the character count is all out of whack with the Japanaese translation and looks bad. Can I edit the character count for Japanese only? Or how can I just turn the exceprt off?

    Hey!

    1- Can you please post the link to your website where we can see the white circle?
    2- Please add following code to Functions.php file in Appearance > Editor and adjust excerpt lenght (100)

    add_filter('avf_magazine_excerpt_length','avf_magazine_excerpt_new_lenght', 10, 1);
function avf_magazine_excerpt_new_lenght($excerpt) {
$excerpt = 100;
return $excerpt;
}

    1. Sorry I can’t post a link right now due to the site being under construction. But it just has the white circle for when you drag your mouse over it. The pencil mark is gone but the ugly circle remains.

    2. I added the code but I decided I just want to take the excerpt out completely, because I have my site translated into both Japanese and English and the Japanese character count is too long compared to the English. So could you please show me how to get rid of the magazine excerpt all together?

    Thanks again Yigit. Problem one is solved but as for #2 even though I added the code and increased the length, it just made the excerpt longer, but still wouldn’t remove it.
