Hi there, I was hoping I could get some assistance for another issue I’m having on my site http://www.thejetcoaster.com
I installed the latest version of the BBpress plugin. However unfortunately, the plug-in appears to break the layout of my homepage (other pages may be affected but I’m unsure to what extent).
It appears to possibly be a widget conflict as only the “featured content” widget areas on my homepage are getting shifted.
Is there anyway to fix this issue? I’m really pretty stumped as to what exactly is causing this issue or how to address it.
April 8, 2015 at 3:02 pm #425344Hey Apollo87!
I see that you are currently using an older version of Enfold 3.0.8. Can you please firstly update the theme to the latest version 3.1.3 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,

Okay, I have successfully updated the theme to 3.1.3!
However, the issue still persists…
Looking forward to your guidance on this issue!

I’m unsure of what is actually broken on your site, it looks really good to me. Could you provide us with screenshots highlighting your issues please?
Cheers!

Here is the layout with the bbpress plugin deactivated:

And this is what the page looks like on the page builder:
I tried disabling all of my plugins and removing the custom css, then activating JUST the bbPress plugin, but it still had the same result.

Hmm I see, did you make any customisations at all to your theme?
Best regards,
RikardApril 11, 2015 at 4:18 am #426877We tried to remove the customizations, but even if we remove the custom css it still doesn’t work =/
April 11, 2015 at 4:20 am #426878However, there were some modifications made to the functions.php a while ago, so could this be the conflict?
April 13, 2015 at 7:31 am #427323Hi!
It might very well be, are you using a child theme? If so, please activate the parent theme instead and see if the problem goes away. If not, please try to remove your customisations temporarily to see if it’s causing the problem.
Regards,
RikardApril 15, 2015 at 6:19 am #428701We found BBpress was causing too many glitches so we ended up going with a different forum software. Thanks for your help, and you can close the ticket!
