Hello,
I have a button “Set Manually” and entered a URL that I want opened in a new window. However, on the page the button hyperlink is not working. See the “Download PDF” button here:

JasonApril 7, 2015 at 4:46 pm #424811Hi jropchan!
The URL should look something like this.
http://www.yoursite.com/pdfs/sample.pdf
You need to remove the a tags in the URL.
<a></a>
Cheers!

April 7, 2015 at 6:00 pm #424857Hi Elliot,
That is the format I am using. See the attached image:
http://www.optimusinfo.com/Screen.pngThere is some problem with the theme or a plugin that is causing the button not to work. Any ideas?
Thanks,

It’s one of your plugins. Deactivate them all and reactivate them one by one to see which one is inserting the tags.
Cheers!
ElliottApril 8, 2015 at 7:10 pm #425523Hi Elliott,
I deactivated all plugins but still faced the same problem. We don’t use any caching on the website.
I am stuck. Not sure what is wrong.
Thanks,
JasonApril 9, 2015 at 9:15 am #425769Hi!
This very much feels like a plugin conflict, do we have your permission to deactivate plugins to check?
Best regards,
RikardApril 9, 2015 at 7:19 pm #426152Yes, go ahead. Please try to limit the time with the plugins deactivated and make sure to re-activate them as soon as you are done.
Thanks,
JasonApril 10, 2015 at 7:45 am #426394Hey!
I tried creating a new page and deleting WP Engine cache unfortunately with the same results. After deactivating all plugins it worked as expected so it’s definitely one of them which is causing the problem. My advice would be deactivate them all and activate them one by one to which one is the culprit. See the correct address in this screenshot: http://imgur.com/b2sOF7d
