    Hello,

    I’m not having any issues with the advanced layerslider I just noticed that it hasn’t been update since October. Since it is intergrated with the theme will the updates for the layerslider be included with the updates of the theme?

    Right now I do not have the stand alone plugin installed but I did purchase it and enter the code the qualify the website for automatic updates. Should I unauthorize the site to receive automatic updates?

    Hey sabrinasantilli!

    Which version of Enfold are you currently using? The latest version of the theme is 3.1.3 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
    We include LayerSlider updates as we release a new update so please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme

    3.1.3 Yes! I always keep the theme updated! but I did purchase the code and enter for automatic updates should I unauthorize the site for automatic updates since layslider updates are included with the theme

    Hey!

    Hmm, I have not tested it myself. If it’s not working then you can copy the updated LayerSlider files into /enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/ to overwrite the old version.

    I’m dealing with something similar.

    I also have the stand-alone plugin and I’d copied and pasted the files into the folder that Elliot mentioned, but the site crashed, so I then only copied the skins folders (I’m looking to customize the navigation buttons of the slider) and it appears that it doesn’t recognize the stand alone plugin neither the skins I put inside the /enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/static/skins

    When I deactivate enfold, it works as the demo of the plugin

    Does it make sense?

    Hi!

    The layer slider skins are disabled by default because most of the skins doesn’t work well with the default style of the theme. You can disable the default layer slider then install it as a stand alone plugin. Add this to the functions.php file to disable the layer slider: 

    add_theme_support('deactivate_layerslider');
