    Hi,

    Can anyone advice me on this. I used to work with Child Themes a lot. Now that I’am working with Enfold plus Salvatore’s plugin mycss https://wordpress.org/plugins/my-custom-css/ I wonder if the Child Theme system is still needed/ preferable.
    Child theme Pros- Cons:
    + Adding page-templates (but who needs templates if you have the Avia Page builder templates?)
    + Save updates (yes, but – automatic update does not recognize the Parent Template)
    + In the admin my customers see there own name and logo (the name of their Child Theme)

    What’s your opinion?

    Hi Mariken!

    Have you inserted your API key in Enfold theme options of your child theme – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
    Please once again check if it is correct.
    We are recommending users to use a child theme who would like to make changes on theme files.
    You can also add custom CSS code to Quick CSS field in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab or into custom.css file which is inside Enfold/css folder and if you are using a child theme, you can use style.css file of your child theme
