Hello there,
we would like to choose the size of the images displayed in a lightbox. Currently the lightbox is using the full size image but we would like to optimize it (we upload very large retina images and we can’t let it load the original images).
Then we would like to edit the size of the related entries thumbnails (displayed by tooltip). Currently it is using the 180x180px thumbnail. Where can we change it?Thanks
SuperhubMarch 26, 2015 at 12:56 pm #418470I was able to change the image loaded in the lightbox by editing the image link in the code!
We still need to resize the related items thumbnails.Best

Please go to Enfold theme options > Blog Layout and change “Related Entries” style

we need to use the “Show thumbnails and display post title by tooltip”, we just want to edit the thumbnail size.Best
SuperhubMarch 27, 2015 at 12:45 pm #419232We run into the same issue with the Blog Masonry perfect grid: how can we choose or set a different thumbnails size?
March 29, 2015 at 4:18 pm #419991Hi!
You can’t choose a different thumbnail size for the masonry element but you can change the size of the thumbnail assigned to it. Use the Simple Image Sizes plugin, go to Settings > Media panel. Adjust the masonry size thumbnail.
Cheers!

your strategy worked for the related entries thumbnail but it’s not working for the masonry Perfect Grid display option.
I’m sending you a private reply with a link where you can check the Perfect Grid problem. You can see that the Flexible masonry option works, the perfect grid doesn’t.

That’s correct. You can change the image size but if you use the perfect grid option it’s still going to crop / stretch the image to fit in the container.

I don’t understand your answer, if you check the link I provided you can see that using “perfect grid” is not showing the pictures at all! What do we need to change to display the images in perfect grid in our scenario?

SuperhubApril 6, 2015 at 12:55 pm #423898Hi!
I think what Elliot meant is that all masonry size settings will use the same thumbnail but using the perfect grid will stretch the images to fit the container. Looks like you’re using an old version of the theme which is not compatible with WP 4.1.1. Please download version 3.1.3 then test it again.

IsmaelApril 7, 2015 at 4:44 pm #424809Hi Ismael, it was already the latest version but we re-downloaded and re-installed the latest version of Enfold in a new WordPress 4.1.1 installation just to be sure and we are having the same issue.
I’m sending the link and the login details in a private reply, please let us know what is going wrong.

The images are displaying now: http://superhub.dyndns.info/superanda.com/201504demo/?page_id=3262
You should set the Element Title and Excerpt to Display on mouse hover because the 1/5 column container space isn’t enough to accommodate the image and the title if the sidebar is activated.
Best regards,
