Hi,
I copied the Enfold demo slider and edited it for my purposes (not finished yet). However, it does not work publicly. It doesn’t even preview. It works fine in the editor though. On my Home page, I’ve loaded it up both ways (using the Short Code directly in a Code Block & choosing it on Short Code Element). It does display using the Code Block, but it is complete wrong (kinda runs backwards). What am I doing wrong?!?
Thanks.

March 23, 2015 at 9:08 pm #416702Hey!
It seems to work fine when Jetpack is deactivated. Not sure why, there wasn’t any errors or anything out of the ordinary. I would try contacting the LayerSlider plugin authors about this.
Cheers!

March 23, 2015 at 11:58 pm #416801Hi,
Thanks for looking into it. Actually, it’s not JetPack that’s causing the problem, it’s one of the settings. Not sure which one yet. Turning JetPack off still resulted in the slides being way out of sync and out of sequence, but at least it was showing publicly.
Possible solution occurred to me just before you responded, and that was to change all the global settings back to the sample slider (since it was working). This resolved everything (even with JetPack activated). The sample slider settings don’t affect the operation of my slider so, in the interest of time, I’m just going to leave it as is.
NEW – Is there code that I can insert to reduce the gap between the bottom of the slider and the line of text (sign-up …) that’s there?
Thanks!

Drag a codeblock element to your page and add this inside.
<style type = "text/css">.content { padding-top: 0px !important; }</style>

[av_hr class='invisible' height='-50' shadow='no-shadow' position='center' custom_border='av-border-thin' custom_width='50px' custom_border_color='' custom_margin_top='30px' custom_margin_bottom='30px' icon_select='yes' custom_icon_color='' icon='ue808' font='entypo-fontello']
Other themes have a gap element to make it easier to adjust gaps, maybe Kriesi might consider it …
