    I’m using plugin “add meta tag” for custom titles and description. It is working fine but not on home/welcome and i do not want to install another plugin just for title of this page.

    Any ideas?

    It would be best to contact the plugin author about this.

    Or as an alternative I recommend checking out the WordPress SEO plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/, which is a very popular plugin for setting up your SEO.
