Portfolio items ????How to update

It is almost like the accordian and slide show are not pulling from what I entered on the page.

There is a space below on the page in the regular editor with the greek text in it. I want to be able to edit the text through the elements, not the code. Shouldn’t I be able to edit the elements after I drag them in? Like Accordion, slide show etc?????

I added a portfolio item, I added an accordian with text – the text is appearing as greek, not what I typed.

Go to Products,
Click on any of the products shown in the portfolio grid, like Conferencing Solutions.
Then a porfolio item appears at the top with the photo of the speakerphone device.
The accordian shows on the right – the text I entered for the accordian isn’t showing, instead, greek text is showing.
In the admin I opened that portfolio item and went into the accordion and typed things in, THEY ARE NOT SHOWING.
See below for what I typed in and what is showing. Each portfolio is doing this, with each tab in the accordion, they text I typed is not showing and some other text is appearing. Shouldn’t I be able to edit the accordion from the accordion element in the portfolio?

You don’t seem to be getting my question. I need to know how to use the accordion element to update this text. The text ins’t in the html of the page. My clients won’t know how to update html in the page, that is why we are using your theme, for the drag and drop elements. Now, I have added a Portfolio element to a page, and created a portfolio page with the accordion element. How do we update that element it has our text in it but the text is not showing. Are you saying you can not use an accordion to update a page in your theme and you have to hard code the items in the portfolio?

yes I was seriously confused. I didn’t know that is how it behaved.

I assumed that I could put any element in the portfolio and manage the content for them in the drag and drop elements.

I have removed the accordions now and added text to the preview.

Now one of my portfolios is not showing the photo – the one for Avaya Digital Phones

also, on all of these portfolios, it looks like the title on each is a hyperlink and takes you to a separate page for each one, how do I prevent the person from clicking on the title and having it take you away to a new page? I just want them to see the preview and not click any further.

What I am trying to do is list all the products in a portfolio, that people can click on and it appears at the top of the page, and they click click forward to the next square with the info and photo. I do NOT want them to be able to click on the preview text and link over to a separate page with duplicate content…..that is a waste of their time since is a duplicate of the other info they just saw. I would rather not have that link to the separate page.
