Hi,
Since upgrading to 3.1 i have been experimenting with building a new single product page using the ALB.
When looking at the new enfold shop demo the price and sale price are displayed. Are these values just hard coded in the page or is there a way to dynamically add them in the editor?
Many thanks:)
March 18, 2015 at 1:47 pm #413606Hey danneeroy!
Thank you for using our theme.
I think, you mean: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-shop/.
This is done by WooCommerce. When editing a product you can enter a regular and a sale price (this can even be limited to a time period).
Hope, this will help you.
Cheers!
GünterMarch 18, 2015 at 2:06 pm #413625Hi Günter,
Yes i understand that aspect, what i was particularly looking for clarification on was:
Once price values are entered in the product data tab, how do you display the price without having to hardcode in in as a text block when building product pages with ALB?
see the url below as an example
http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-shop/product/green-blouse-daria/The problem is that i have many products to add and would like to create a ALB page template that will pull in data like price and sale price automatically, the way the default Woocommerce template does.
I hope that explains things better?
Thanks in advance:)

To display that type of information in the avia layout editor you would have to use shortcodes. WooCommerce has a large list of shortcodes here you can try, http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/.
We also have some of our own shortcodes in the “Plugin Additions” tab of the layout editor.

did you get an answer which allowed you to achieve your objective?
I believe I have the same question…
How to use the advanced layout editor to create products and display the price without having to hardcode the item number e.g. [add_to_cart id=”99″]
regards

You can use Code Block element or text tab of Text Block element to insert WooCommerce shortcodes

Thanks. Yes – we can use shortcodes but we have to manually tell it the item number. So, to show the price and add to cart button we have to enter [add_to_cart id=”99″] – where 99 is the ID of the product we want.
However, when using the Advanced Layout Editor there are Plugin Additions which we can just drop in there which automatically identify the correct product. So, for example if you use the Product Tab Info you don’t have to enter [product_tab_info id=”99″] you just drop the plugin addition onto the page.
What we want is the ability to do that for the display of the Price only. So, like the Product Purchase button but just showing the price.

November 4, 2015 at 2:40 pm #530034Hey!
not sure if this will be possible. But maybe you just need to hide something via CSS? could you highlight your intentions using screenshots/mockups please? to make things clear for us. You can use imgur.com or dropbox.
Best regards,
AndyNovember 4, 2015 at 3:14 pm #530058Hi Andy
I have created a mockup of both the front and backend https://www.dropbox.com/s/z0ohauzksvijiyl/enfoldquestion.jpg?dl=0
I used stuff from your support site to populate it so please don’t be confused.
This is a product setup using the ALB showing the ‘new’ Plugin Addition.
I figure if you can show the product info tab then you would also be able to show the price!
Thanks
John
November 5, 2015 at 7:51 pm #531158Hi!
there is currently no such function in ALB for that. You can make a feature request for Kriesi here: kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/ and if lots of people need this function as well, we might see it soon on an update. If you really need this function right now, then I would hire a freelance developer or maybe the guys from WooCommerce support have an idea for you.

AndyFebruary 28, 2016 at 4:25 pm #590441Dear all,
sorry but I have probably the same problem announced by danneeroy at the top, and the answer of Gunter was not enought!
I’m using Enfold Shop demo template and I’m not able to change regular and sale price. That’s the problem: I’ve created a variable product (perfume) with a new attribute (Size, with 2 values: 75 ml and 100 ml) used for variation.
Then, I insert prices for each variation: for example, for the first size, I put regular price (e.g. 67,00 €) and sale price (e.g. 59,00 €), but after saving I preview the page and I continue to see prices of the demo! Why? Those regular price and sale price are just hard coded in the page? How can I change them?
Many thanks.
