    What is the ideal size for the top slider image? I have used the images that come with the theme, I have tried others and it seems like the images keep getting enlarged. Am I doing something wrong? Is it because it’s responsive? Please let me know

    Hey walkdesign!

    For the fullscreen slider I would try an image around 1500 x 1500. It will still be resized a bit depending on the screen size but it should still look sharp.

    If I do a square image, how do I control how the image gets cropped, and doesn’t that make the image huge from a lo0ad perspective?

    Hey!

    It will display in the center of the screen with a “background-size: cover;” so it will automatically resize to cover all screens. If you want to use a smaller image then you can but the quality may be reduced. It’s just a matter of balancing quality and speed to get a result you like.
