    Hi, I have been trying to upgrade my clients site from v 1.4 to the latest version – 3.0.8. I have already upgraded wordpress and all corresponding plugins.
    However, when upgrading via ftp, all i now get is the following error message when trying to view the sites admin:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function shortcode_exists() in /hermes/bosweb25a/b71/nf.babacool/public_html/babacool.net/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/shortcode-template.class.php on line 308
    I have downloaded and installed the latest theme files from themeforest twice today with no success.
    Any help on this would be appreciated.

    Hi annenelson!

    Try completely deleting the existing theme before uploading the new copy.

    That is an old version your using so I’m not sure if there will be problems or not when uploading to the latest. It would be best to create a backup first and also make sure that WordPress is updated and all plugins are deactivated while testing.

    Hi!

    Make sure in Dashboard > Settings > Reading you are not using any static pages. Send us a WordPress login if your still having trouble.

    For the sidebar links try adding this to your custom CSS.

    aside a { color: red !important; }
aside a span { color: blue !important; }
aside a strong { color: green !important; }
