    Hello,
    I was wondering if it is possible to have the filters for the AJAX portfolio in the sidebar.
    This would make it look like categories at the blog section.

    Or is it possibly to manual link to the categories, but still keep it rearranging on the page.

    Yes, it is possible to implement this, but not out of the box. This is a huge customisation and far beyond the scope of the support forum.
