    Hello,
    I have a big problem, my site has been lost while moving from one hosting platform to another.
    The files are all on the server but have become mixed with other word press files.

    Is there any way of being able to reconstruct the site from the files and database
    by reinstalling WordPress the theme and certian files and the database ?

    Hey RickWaterson!

    Contact your hosting provider and check to see if they have automatic backups scheduled. If so then you could restore a backup of your site.

    Once that is done see here for how to move WordPress to a new domain, http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress.
