Hello,
Is it possible to have no margins around the featured image (single post, big preview image)?
Also, when you currently hover over the big preview/featured image, it creates a link to view the image. How do I remove the link? Thanks!
March 6, 2015 at 9:42 pm #407291Hi wordwise!
Are you trying to make the featured image full width? That’s going to be difficult for a post. You could try doing this, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-add-advanced-layout-manager-to-blog-posts/, to add the layout editor to posts and then use a color section instead of the featured image. I have not tested this out though.
If that’s not what your trying to do then send us a link to your page and take a screenshot highlighting your intentions so we can get a better idea.
Cheers!

Thanks!
March 7, 2015 at 12:33 am #407352OK, so the posts are actually LearnDash course/lesson/topic/assignment posts, so I followed this thread and made the changes:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/put-enfold-post-layout-options-into-learndash-post/
…which gave me the Advanced Layout Editor post options inside the LearnDash post editor. But there is no option to get the featured image (or even just inserted image) to take up the full width of the content area. The color section takes up the entire site width, including the sidebar. I tried using the fullwidth slider with just a single image, but it takes up the entire site width, including the sidebar as well. All I need is the width of the main content area.
Here are screenshots (apologies, these are just quick examples and are way too big :)
What I have now is: http://postimg.org/image/w7pxz7dkt/full/
But I would like this: http://postimg.org/image/sxwr3n21h/full/Thanks!

March 9, 2015 at 2:29 am #407811Hey!
You ca try the Easy Slider or an Image element inside a 1/1 column.
Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 9, 2015 at 4:32 am #407842Thanks Ismael, I tried it but it’s still doing the same thing. Plus I have a LearnDash element (Course status) appearing above the image as well.
No change in code to make a featured image do this?
Thanks for your help.
March 9, 2015 at 7:44 pm #408393Hi, I just discovered that due to another LearnDash function I will not be using the featured image as a page header, as I need it for something else with different aspect ratio.
So I need to just insert a normal picture at the top of the post, filling the entire content width (without the margins that are present for the rest of the content below – see second picture I posted earlier).
I hope I’m explaining this correctly :) Thanks for your patience!
March 10, 2015 at 9:14 am #408674Hey!
Can you please provide a link to learndash post? We would like to check it. Try to add an easy slider or image element inside a 1/1 column so that we can see the issue.
Cheers!
IsmaelApril 3, 2015 at 3:07 am #422860Hi Ismael, apologies – I’ve been very busy with some other things. I will get you the info as soon as I’m available to pay attention to this again – probably next week or so. Thanks for not closing this ticket!

Have you tried adding an Image element or a slider? You can edit add css modifications to increase the size and remove the padding. Please create a test page or post with the Image or Slider.

IsmaelJune 16, 2015 at 10:28 pm #460450So I played around with CSS a bit, and it seems that the problem is due to the padding in the main container, which is otherwise crucial to the design. Decreasing the padding to 0 will also push the text right to the edge of the page. I think I may have to forget about this one :(
Unless there is a way for the image element alone to override the main container padding? Doubt it…
Anyway, thanks for a superb theme and great support!
