    Hi Support, i would really like to use the jetpack plugin with this theme, unfortunately i cant seem to install it because it keeps coming up with an error message. apparently this is a result of the enfold theme. how can i fix this?

    Hi craig_corfield!

    You shouldn’t be having any issues with it. What is the error message it gives you?

    Is Enfold updated? Try deactivating all of your other plugins before installing it.

    Hey!

    That doesn’t sound like a theme problem. It happens in the default theme as well correct?

    I found this which may help, https://wordpress.org/support/topic/jetpack-register-http-request-failed. Try contacting your hosting provider and let them know about this error your getting with the plugin.

    I havent tried it in the default theme yet. Sorry for the late reply was waiting to see what the hosting team said.
    They said everything is working fine on their side and if jetpack works on a sub-domain then it should work on the main domain as well. Tried disabling all other plugins but still no luck.

    If i switch back to a default theme i wont lose all my work right?

    Want to try installing it in the default theme then switching back to enfold.

    Hi!

    Yes they should be ok but consider making a backup or at least export your settings in Dashboard > Enfold > Import/Export just in case.

    Hey Elliot, managed to swap over to the default 2015 and jetpack worked and installed fine, swapped back to enfold and there were issues again. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

    Hey!

    Do you know if your server has some anti-CSFR functionality activated? i’m pretty sure Enfold does not add those tags directly but perhaps something in the theme is triggering a server reaction so knowing that will led us to the fix.

    Unfortunately i don’t know, i have submitted it to the hosting team as well as this thread to see if they have any answers, in the mean time here are other problems that happen when jetpack is active on my site… Even after deletion my entire site is still broken in places, the footer removes everything and goes back to the standard footer, the accordion slider pages get this issue:

    Ok so i have deleted jetpack and my site is a complete mess still… that code still appears on the pages with accordion slider and my footer widget settings have completely disappeared. Please help as this is URGENT now

    Ok So my web hosts assure me there’s nothing wrong with the server as other people are using plugins and various other themes just fine, the plugins work perfectly with default themes and just came across the same problem so its not just the jet pack plugin but also the akismet plugin. Its definitely a theme issue. Please let me know if you guys come up with an update to the theme to resolve these issues or something.

    Hey!

    I tried to login to the wp dashboard but the login credentials provided above are not working. What are the features activated when you use the jetpack plugin? Note that not all jetpack features are compatible with premium themes, like infinite scroll, accordion etc. These features tend to create script conflicts between the theme and the plugin.
