I have http://www.francity.com website in English. I will translate the website to other languages for different markets.
Where would you recommend to locate the websites in other languages?

    The options are:

    1. Each website on different domain.
Let’s say, website in Russian – on http://www.francity.ru and website in Latvian – on http://www.francity.lv.

    2. All the websites on http://www.francity.com.
In this case, Russian would be http://www.francity.com/ru and Latvian would be http://www.francity.com/lv.

    Thanks!

    Hi francity!

I think that is up to you to decide, keeping everything on one page would most likely mean less work. For SEO purposes you might gain a small advantage having local top domains though…

I will use different domains as I have purchased them anyway. How would you recommend to link the websites in other languages to and from http://www.francity.com, so that search engines would sum all the traffic from all the websites?

    Thanks!

    Hi!

I’m not really sure what you mean by “sum all the traffic from all the websites”, but you should definitely put links between the different sites for better SEO.
