First in case I haven’t said this before, I think Enfold is an awesome theme, worth every penny. :-)
In Theme Options / Header / Header Behavior, it says that stick headers are (only) ignored on smartphones. Do you guys have a quick CSS snippet that would allow Enfold to ignore sticky headers on tablets too? I have a problem where the sticky header actually moves around somewhat erratically in the native android browser on my Asus TF-300 tablet running Android 4.1.1. It appears to happen only on my new home page (of all pages) where I’m using a layer slider with fairly constant animation. The header seems to move when the slider beneath it animates. Until I scroll, it’s fine. When I start to scroll however, sometimes it will behave correctly; sometimes the header will move down the screen as I scroll down; sometimes it will not appear back at the top until the slider moves to the next slide. Plus the native android browser has crashed three times just sitting on the page. I’ll put a link below to my development machine in case you’d like to take a look.
Thanks!

It looks fine on the Nexus 7. Does it look ok on your tablet if you use the official Chrome browser?

ElliottFebruary 28, 2015 at 4:27 am #403797Yes, it looks ok in the mobile versions of Chrome and Firefox. It’s mainly in the native android browser that it’s messed up. That’s why I’m concerned, because as a web developer, even though I personally prefer both Chrome AND Firefox to the native browser, I have to assume that most users will use the built in one.
So you’re saying it looks fine on a Nexus 7 in the built in android browser?

Yes it looks fine on the Nexus 7. Are you using an old Android phone? The official browser is Chrome now but on older phones (depending on the phone) they had the “android browser” or other custom browser which are not supported.
It would be best to use the official Chrome browser or even Firefox as they are standards compliant.
Cheers!
