Hi I am having an issue that the site is not loading properly in Chrome – it is working fine in both Explorer and Firefox. On mobile it crashes both chrome and safari on iOS
The main issue on chrome seems to be that the background images are not loading and scrolling properly (They are supposed to have the text scroll up on top of the picture – (Ie the picture should remain static while the text and website move on top of it.)
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best,
Ari

Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
@media only screen and (max-width: 990px) { #wrap_all { position: relative !important; }}
Issue will be fixed on upcoming update.

It does not crash, your website loads fine on my end on my iphone. Can you please elaborate on the issue please? Also, can you try on another iphone if that is possible?
Best regards,
YigitMarch 11, 2015 at 1:53 pm #409828Yigit,
On Safari, it loads partially as you scroll down it crashes and reloads.
On chrome it starts loading then – crashes completely and shuts down.
I have an iphone 6+ running ios 8.1
On the 4 having the same issue.
On the 5 in chrome it loads, but the pictures are showing up wrong and you cant see the text on them as it is distorted and cut off.
The paralex effect is not working on any of themBest,

Try to increase the WordPress Memory Limit to at least 256M: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/

AriMarch 20, 2015 at 6:13 am #415041Hi!
I tested the site on an iPod touch and it loads fine without crashing. Restart the device then remove the mobile browser cache before checking the page. To be honest, the home page is a bit too heavy. The total file size is 11.6MB. You should optimize the images or distribute other contents on different pages.

IsmaelMarch 23, 2015 at 9:47 am #416272What is the optimal size you recommend?
March 24, 2015 at 4:49 pm #417162Hi!
Most of your images look good but the parallax backgrounds probably need to be optimized, they are totaling around 3 – 4 MB. I would try around 900 x 900 and check to see if that looks good for you. It’s just a matter of balancing the quality and speed to figure out what your okay with.
Also, your site looks fine on the Moto E and Nexus 7.
Cheers!
ElliottJune 4, 2015 at 9:43 pm #454751How heavy should it be in terms of Megbites? Is the video also causing it to crash or does this not have any effect?
Is there any way for you guys to optimize this for me?June 5, 2015 at 7:47 am #454965Hey!
Videos are disabled on mobile screens by default so it will not affect the mobile performance of the site. Website optimization is outside our role as theme support. What we can do is to give you specific instructions and point you to related articles. Please follow the suggestions provided here:

https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_OptimizationAgain, you can resize the parallax backgrounds as a start:

IsmaelJune 14, 2015 at 12:31 am #458868Thanks for sending that over – My developer says he followed the guidelines – but the site is still crashing on mobile after half the page is loaded. Can you please have another look and tell me what else needs to be done? I haven’t been able to run any ad campaigns due to the issues I am facing.
June 15, 2015 at 12:04 pm #459241Hi – I haven’t heard back from you guys – the site is still crashing on iOS mobile… can you please have a look? Checked it on iPhone 5 & 6. Same problem
June 16, 2015 at 8:40 am #459886Hey!
Alright. The site crashed when I checked it on my iPod. The images are not fully optimized. Check this image for example which is currently 400KB: http://nomadigo.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/backgrnd2.jpg
I was able to decrease the file size down to 200KB using photoshop by resaving the image to jpg and decreasing the quality to 10. Please follow these guidelines:
1. Optimize all images with AI/Photoshop before uploading to server ‘save as web safe’ jpg
2. Once all images are on the website optimize with ewww optimizer plugin twice 1hr 10mins apart.
3. Install wp-smushit run once to remove jpeg extra data, then uninstall.
4. Use BWP minify plugin to minify scripts and stylesheets.
5. Install WP-Super cache, select all recommended settings.
6. Logout your website, visit every page at least once to create super cache files.
7. Join Cloudflare setup your website on their CDN, Choose options: Full CDN Optimisation save then activate purge files. once done log out.
8. Have a cup of coffee.
9. Visit your site after 20 minutes or so.
10. Don’t forget to smile. The home page is quite heavy. If possible, try to relocate other sections on the page to another page. For example, you can showcase 4 portfolio on the home page and then create a link that will take the users to the actual portfolio page where they can browse other portfolio items. You can do the same thing for the team section and the contact page.
Cheers!
