After creating the two internal pages, I can not link the navigation back to the front page.
    How can it be achieved??

    Hi jdiamond!

Can you post the link to your page where we can see the issue please? If you are adding your pages as child pages, please make sure to choose their parent page – http://i.imgur.com/4LE9a3c.png

    hi Yigit,

    the url is
    http://www.madeinjapandoc.com/

as you will see everything works fine in the front page, nice scroll etc, but on the internal pages -screenings and news-
-from those two internal pages I can not go back to home, about, trailer, contact.
have no idea how to go about it

    Hey!

I’m guessing you set out to make this a one page site, correct? News is on a different page and I guess your link is just #top in the backend? That means that the home link on http://www.madeinjapandoc.com/?page_id=406 will be http://www.madeinjapandoc.com/?page_id=406#top when on that page. Could you change the link in the menu to the full URL and see if that helps?

    Cheers!

thank you so much!!!! you led me to a solution. All that needed to be done was
http://www.madeinjapandoc.com/#top. Why haven’t I though of this earlier?
can you help me with the last thing…how can I make news and screenings a current state (the underline in the menu) once the viewer is on that
    particular page?

    thank you!!!

Sorry in advance for bumping in with a question, but I am using the same layout as you, but how did you rename the “Menu” to “Trailer”?

    Hi,

It’s pretty simple to change the name. Just go to Appearance>Menus on the menu page go to Menu Structure. Click Custom on whichever one you want to change the name and change the Navigation label to your “custom” name.

    Hope this helps

    Hey jdiamond!

I would remove the #top altogether from the URL since you already have the go-to-top button active, just like on this forum, on the bottom right hand of your screen. That is probably why the underlining is wrong when you go to the news section. Try scrolling down and you will see it change back and forth between home and news.

    Cheers!
