Fullscreen slider causes laggy scrolling on mobile

Hi there,

I have a single “fullscreen slider” image at the top of http://www.trueimageart.com. The animated text and “down arrow” button give me the look that I desire.

On a mobile device, as I scroll up or down slowly with my finger, the background image slightly resizes and causes a laggy scrolling experience. I’ve tried using the “color section” layout element to accomplish the same look, but the same problem occurs.

I have seen plenty of sites with fullscreen images that do not exhibit this problem. How can it be fixed?
