Dear guys,
I would like to use blog posts with a full-width featured image combined with the transparent header and a regular sidebar starting below. I’d like to achieve an effect like on your restaurant-demo http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-restaurant/news/ with the post content istead of the post listing.
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Axel
Hi Axel!
Yes just create a new page and set the header to be transparent. Next drag a color section to your content and set a background image to it and then the blog posts element beneath that.
Cheers!

Hi there!
I’m jumping in this topic as I’m interested to do something similar. Is there any way to make this layout the default single post layout?
Actually I’m looking for a fullscreen image with title in it and the body text underneath just like this: http://roadsandkingdoms.com/2015/colombias-bloom-boom
In an ideal world, this image would be the featured image (so I don’t have to upload it twice).
If it’s too much of a hassle to incorporate the title, something like this will do: http://www.sidetracked.com/cycling-in-afghanistan/
Cheers!
Hi!
You would have to edit the single.php file and do a lot of customization to it. It’s kind of bordering on custom work but the WordPress functions you would be interested in are http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/do_shortcode, and, http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_post_thumbnail.
Cheers!
