I am creating a “How To” site where i plan to put 100s of how to articles about a globally popular software, most of the times i need to repeat few elements in all posts such as “Login to admin console” with showing screenshots.
I want to create template in a way that it acts as element template not the full page template, so i can insert them wherever i want in the page, and whenever i change the MAIN template elements, data gets changed in all the places where its used
it will save me lot of time, whenever this software launches any new version, as i only have to change screenshots with new UI in main element instead of all pages where its used
in short, am looking for something like in Enfold like Visual Compoer’s Templatera http://codecanyon.net/item/templatera-template-manager-for-visual-composer/5195991
Is there any way to achieve this today?
if not, is this something you are considering in Enfold’s roadmap?
Thanks

When you edit your page there is a template button which you can use to save templates and load them again later.
Cheers!
ElliottFebruary 15, 2015 at 5:48 pm #396427thanks, can i use it as following-:
1. As a element template? which means if i use 5 sections in my home page and each section has some elements, can i save each section as a template for use on other pages? IF yes, when creating a new page, i want to add 4 sections manually, and then add the 5th one from templates, is it possible?
2. Saving time -: Let say look and feel of my software changes, and i need to update all my how to articles with new UI, instead of changing everything on all pages one by one, can i just edit the main template, and then it updates all the pages automatically where this template is used?
Absolute similar to this-: http://codecanyon.net/item/templatera-template-manager-for-visual-composer/full_screen_preview/5195991
February 16, 2015 at 6:21 pm #396885Hey!
1. Yes, just click on it and it will insert whatever elements you have saved.
2. It doesn’t work like that. You will need to create a new template.
Best regards,

February 25, 2015 at 9:29 pm #402347Hi!
Not that I know of. You can create a feature request here, https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/, and we may see something get added in the future.
Cheers!
