When the option to have the pages collapsed in the mobile navigation is activated, the parent page links are no long clickable. Is there any way to enable this?
February 13, 2015 at 6:57 pm #395959Hi Sean!
No I don’t think there would be. On mobiles you cannot hover so the only way to interact with a link is to click it. If you have the parent links clickable then of course you would not be able to view the sub menus.
What you’ll want to do is navigate to Dashboard > Enfold > Header > Mobile Menu and make sure the “Hide mobile menu sub menus” is not checked.
Cheers!

Thanks for the reply. We really need the parent link clickable. Once it is expanded, can you add an arrow, or something that is clickable to allow the user to navigate to that page? You could also set a simple counter to detect how many taps the parent navigation item has been clicked and let that determine the animation vs link.

Your best option is to have the menu expanded in mobile view by unchecking “Hide mobile menu sub menus”, your custom solution would require a lot of customisation and is out of scope of theme support.
Cheers!

BasilisMarch 18, 2019 at 8:31 pm #1080062I got a mobile icon menu showing on my website.
In the menu. I got a Parent menu with submenu items. The submenu show on mouse hover while the parent menu does not link to any page.
The client want me to link the parent menus their various pages on click
while the hover on them is still working for submenu dropdown.
So to summarize it all. The parent menus should drop sub-menu item on (mouse hover).
and linked to pages (on click) simultaneously.
I actually tried the options in the theme options but it clones the parent menu to link. The client does not want that. So I am hoping you guys could help with this imminently.
Regards

We can’t check the site because the scripts are not loading properly. They are being aborted. Are you aware of this issue?

We are not really sure what’s causing it but it seems to be a server issue. Please contact your hosting provider for additional help.

what about the menus issues. I just want the parent menu to be clickable(linked to a page) and dropdown submenu on hoverThanks
March 28, 2019 at 11:27 pm #1084318Hi,
Are you referring to the mobile menu? Unfortunately, we can’t change the default behavior. You can either set the sub menu to be always visible or clone the parent menu item. Those options are available in the Enfold > Main Menu panel. Please open a new ticket.
Best regards,
