    I’ve been building a new site using Enfold. In waiting for the client to provide content, I haven’t worked on the site in a couple months. Coming back to work on the site today, I’ve discovered what appears to be injected links. On this Testimonial page (see private content), there are links appearing after the Testimonial person’s name, City, State such as the following (See the 3rd testimonial link, the injected text/links appears as the following: – Wiki Travel, or – Media Wiki or – Max Mobilcom). I did NOT add the hypen or the link to the Testimony or the page, and this hyphen and link do NOT appear in the Testimonial builder within the content or anywhere else. In other words, these links just appeared recently and I have no idea where they came from:
    ================================= EXAMPLE =============================================

    Lynn Noris
    Lakeland, FL – Media Wiki <<< This link for example

    The Town Carpenter has helped us to design and build a beautiful new kitchen, a home office, master bath, bedroom, bookcases, and an entertainment center over the course of eight years. We return for each project for the superior quality, professionalism, timeliness and guarantee of workmanship. We value the consistency of honest and reliable service we know we can expect from The Town Carpenter.
    Hank and Nancy Almquist
    Atlanta, GA – Max Mobilcom <<<< And this link for example

    In our opinion, The Town Carpenter did a superb job designing, constructing, and installing our bathroom vanity. We found working with The Town Carpenter a positive experience and were pleased with the end result.
    Judy and Bill Maner
    Atlanta, GA – Doom Inc <<< And this link as another example
    ===============================================================================

    Only the person’s name, city and state are supposed to appear.

    I have spoken with my hosting company, and they think it has to do with the theme.

    I also am a member of WPMU.org, a WordPress support site, and their tech support also stated that they think it has to do with the theme.

    Therefore, can you help me understand how these links are appearing, since they are not within the Testimonial builder content, and I didn’t add them? Is there a vulnerability that has caused this? And, how can I remove them? Is this a known issue, and has happened to others?

    Anything you can tell me or help me with is greatly appreciated. I love the theme, and hope to use it on future projects too.

    Thank you so much,
    elizabeth

    Hey Elizabeth!

    Where do we login at? When I try and view the login page it gives me a server error.

    The testimonials have a “website link” option and that is what is being used on your page. If you did not add the links yourself then it’s most likely another user for your site did.

    Regards,
    Elliott

    Hi Elliott,
    I feel so stupid. I did look at the link field on one of the testimonials, and didn’t see anything entered, so assumed that was not the point of insertion. As it turned out, there are only 4 testimonials that had these links, and I didn’t look at those 4 specifically. My bad.

    I’m very sorry to have bothered you.

    Thank you so much!
