Hi,
I am trying to insert a full width image behind my transparent header. If I do this as ‘upload a custom background image’, I am left with borders on left and right side. The only way I can achieve full page width is as a layerslider. But even this gives a white border at the top of the page??? Please see the problem here:

I would like NOT to have to use a slider, but have a simple image that is the same width as the maximum container width (1310px) that the header sits transparent over. The image fills the whole width of the screen.
Thank you for your help!

February 9, 2015 at 3:16 pm #393079Hi bryan1976!
Please try uploading your background image and then add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
.header_bg { background-size: cover; }
If that does not work, please do not remove the background image and let us know so we can look into it
Cheers!

Thanks for your message.
I’ve done this but there is no image now I’m afraid. If you could take a look that would be great!
Thanks,
Bryan
February 9, 2015 at 4:48 pm #393132Hi!
You have set your header to transparent header on your homepage. Please edit your page and choose to display no transparency. Then go to Enfold theme options > Header and change header size.
If that too does not help, please post a screenshot and show the changes you would like to make so we can provide you more accurate solutionBest regards,

Please check the page now: http://www.theaudiobarn.co.uk/
We included a color section with a background image then set the header transparency. You can replace the color section with a slider.

Thanks this looks great on a laptop/desktop screen, however the image doesn’t resize for iPads/tablets…….it is cropped.
So maybe there is a problem with the responsive part???
Thanks,
Bryan

You should probably remove the text from the image then add it as a caption instead.

Actually you can add html codes inside the caption field so adding the text as image will do. What do you mean by “corrupts the rest of the homepage”? I checked the site again, looks like you added the “barn” image as color section background. What you can do now is to add a horizontal element inside the color section, set it to whitespace to create a gap then add a code block below. Add the background text as image.
