Endfold and file manager?

As for better organisation I want to manage my files in aseperate folder but not the wp-content-Folder (with use of the plugin wp-filebase). So my files/images are on the server in this folder:

http://www.domain.com/files/images/topic-a
http://www.domain.com/files/images/topic-b
http://www.domain.com/files/pdf/

When I want to add a masonary gallery or a single image in the avia layout builder I can’t select these files. Is there a possibility to use them (maybe by adding a third option beside upload and media library)?

If not, does a plugin exist that would let me manage my images and works together with the enfold theme? What would it be?
